Empty Cages - the film
The documentary film Empty Cages (Tomma burar) is filmed and directed by Teresia Fant. She documented the Swedish direct action group Empty Cages during two years. The film shows how the group freed animals and put them in loving homes and the consequences of civil disobedience. The film is 36 minute long and in Swedish but with English subtitles. One of the members of Empty Cages, Martin Smedjeback, can be at the screening to answer questions and to discuss the method of open rescue.
